THE MASQUERADE BY JUVIA'S FOR A MONTH: 11.09.2018

I could not put makeup on today.  I could not sleep as long as a human should which is not the first time but thinking about doing makeup with this palette was not encouraging.  It felt like it was going to take for ever and I simply decided go on my day sans makeup.

And guess what I discovered?  This is not a palette to create sth quick for me.  Yes, you can pick a single color from the palette but you need another color to tie that vibrant tone to your skin. I do not enjoy using bronzer or blush to create transition on the lid.

The mattes in this palette are very intense.  You can blend them to your crease but the tones are either too orange, red, or cool toned brown. 

Same goes for metallics; they are either too vibrant or jewel toned.  When used on their own, they look like unfinished business.  This palette is definitely missing transitions shades based on your makeup taste. I enjoy gradually building colors and blown out smokey eyes. So this palette on its own not working for me. 

I already have a makeup look planned for tomorrow.  I am going to do a video on it.
