Today was an awesome makeup day. I just focused on two shades from the palette. Than I had to pick an outsider to blend the upper crease to the brow bone and voila!!!! I even got a complement at Mommy & Me class.
That is my recommendation for you; whenever you feel like you are attacked by color scheme, focus on a shade or two not to get overwhelmed. You will be able to discover awesome combinations for every occasion. Having said that, I think the pans should be removable for two reasons. Their selection of colors are very creative and different but also not for everyone. I can obviously focus on certain shades and pick a color or two from another palette but it is inconvenient. The second reason is, no matter how awesome the formulations are, at one point any palette will bore you to death. And this is my friend can easy be salvaged with re-arrangement of colors. Make your pans removable.
I get the attractive, affordable price point to get your name out there. But now that everybody rave about the quality of the product, I think it is time to improve packaging. I do not know how much it affects the cost but I sure do not mind the extra couple dollars. I am not talking about obnoxiously high end packaging here. I just want to be able to remove the pans. But because these huge ass pans are glued to the cardboard directly, it is almost impossible to remove them without ruining them. Improve packaging, please!!!!!
Lighting is terrible in this picture but you get the idea. By the way, the metallic formulations in this palette are extremely emollient. If you have hooded eyes, it is best to carry them up to crease so you do not end up with heavy smudging in the crease like me as picture clearly shows. This combo of colors are extremely forgiving but with vibrant colors, smudging may make your look very unpleasant.
