I remember the day I received palettes from Juvia's palettes. I was happy as a kid. Than what happened; why I never did any of the color combos I imagined I would do with these????? This baby was jammed in a drawer waiting for its expiration. Let's find out why!!!!
First look with the palette:
Here is a list of eye shadows I used in order:
- MAC Cosmetics Bamboo ( crease)
- MAC Cosmetics Texture (crease)
- The Masquerade by Juvia's Cairo (crease)
- The Masquerade by Juvia's Ada (crease)
- The Masquerade by Juvia's Casablanca (lid)
- MAC Cosmetics Antiqued (slightly applied to outer corner of the crease to tune down the reds)
Eyeliner is Maybelline Blackest Black. I do not like it. Sorry!!!
Tip:
While blending colors to your crease, start with the lightest shade and big, fluffy crease brush. As the color gets darker, blending brush gets smaller.
Fist days note:
This makeup looked stunning throughout the day. The pigmentation of the three shades, I used from the palette, are exceptional. But the palette was not enough on its own. I needed additional shades in the crease to soften the look for daytime. There are not any light and mid tone transition shades in this palette for me.
