Burgundy and Green Halo Eye Makeup Look

Still heavily abusing my Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette.   I loved this look so much but I must admit the star of the look is actually Inglot AMC Pure Pigment in 85 because without that there was not much pop to it.

Ok, honestly; me trying so hard.  But, soon I will get an expert on these wings because they make your eyes look exponential.


This look is inspired by Linda Hallberg.  She is an incredible artist and I have ton to learn from her.

Sephora VIB Sale

I was mainly a smart shopper and invested in a good skin care.  And then of course, I had to go back and reward myself for behaving myself.  And I got myself a new palette; Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette.  So far so good. I was not expecting to love this palette this much but I think all the different textures make this palette very unique.  Everything layers on each other so nice and actually adds a new dimension instead of covering.

I hope you enjoy my first look with this palette!

Fall and Berries

I love these shades; pop them, top them, and layer them.  You do not have to break the bank to have fun with shades.  Color Pop has an amazing range.  At this point, I believe, I will always have a considerable collection of super shock shadows.  I use ton of other things but I miss those especially.

Fall Tutorial

It is certain now: we will never be able to move on from reddish browns, oranges, and reds.  So sick of it but so in love with it. Come on, bring it on.

I currently stop going after palettes.  Seriously.  I have a child to raise. Creating my own palette is where it is at for me right now. 

I made a fall look with some of the most popular tones and they are all from Make Up Forever. I love their artist shadows.  They are absolutely amazing to play with.  I hope you like it.

Play! by Sephora October Review and Recommendations

Owww, I love you so.  It was fun and exciting.  And they always get me.  I already have two full size desires so my shopping list for sale is ready.

I used the products and for some I have alternative suggestions or other loves from the brand.  So the review is little bit beyond what came in the box.  I hope this is helpful to you.

I am so into Nude Makeup Looks

I am so into nude make up looks recently.  I mean, I apply substantial amount of eyeliner, but it does not get lost into the smudged, smoked eye shadows.

I tried one.  It was almost painful not to apply dark and shimmery shadows but here is the look.

The beauty industry is all about palettes.  People do not invest in individual eye shadows anymore. However, I am so done with this similar looking STUFF.  I do not know when they are going to damp this orangey, red fever, but it is getting so dull to see the similar palettes row after row.

It used to be original and creative but now it is just about owning stuff.

It is not ultimate brown smokey eye or anything...

special but these colors are so easy to throw on and I really enjoy the fact that I do not have to make these work for me.   These are my colors and they suit anyone naturally.

Make a space for some shimmer in your makeup routine. I am not saying have a glitter collection but no matter how old you are, right dose can really make a difference. They brighten instantly and cover any imperfections.  I love this inglot amc pure pigment in #41 and also another fave is #13.   I like to layer them over cream bases, so they stick better and last longer. They just add the right amount of sparkle without being too much and, I think, also perfect for everyday working woman. 

Here is my take on it.

By the way,  I could not lose a pound even, because as soon as I start using my oven again for cooking purposes, I start to bake. The fist cooking book I got is from Hershey's.  Hopeless!!!! but happy !!!!!

I GOTTA DO STH ABOUT MY WEIGHT- BOILED EGG

I know this one is not so yummy for everyone but the benefits are a page long.  All you got to do is; boil the egg.  Your egg can boil while you are dressing up or putting on your makeup. There is a way to incorporate this to your morning routine. Other than that, salt it, pepper it, or whatever, but find a way to like this.  Rich in protein and it is a breakfast.

Deck of Scarlet Nazanin Kavari Palette Review

This is the 3rd palette I have received and for the first time I am happy.  Everything in the palette is pretty amazing.  Now that I know this can be done right to the every single detail, if I receive a faulty product again, I will ask for a replacement.  Here is a video with swathes and application.

Another subscription service but  does this one hit the spot for ultimate makeup addict???

Not just yet but I really hope this one to work.

There are great things about this concept:

• A Youtuber puts together the palette to complement eyes, checks, and lips.  The great thing about this is that you can relate to this person through her/his channel.  Since they get to play with a lot of colors, textures, and read about likes and dislikes, I love the idea that in a way they share their expertise. 
• Amazing packaging; graphic designs are absolutely worth collecting
• Great to get out of your comfort zone and experiment with color since matching blush and lip colors are conveniently put together

However, product quality is not there just yet. Some perform good while others can be absolute fails. 

Up until now, they produced 5 palettes and quality have been steadily going down.  I have edition 1 & 2 and in comparison with edition 1, edition #2 is a big let down. I got serious irritation in my eye. 

But, my hopes are high.  I believe in this concept and I really want this one to work for me.  This is the start of new era for the palettes.  Many other brands have been trying this but mainly they were fails too.  It may have to do with pressing all those different formulations to one palette.

I GOTTA DO STH ABOUT MY WEIGHT- SUPER FAST BREAKFAST, NO COOKING AND YUMMY

Yes, weight lost issue; it is a nasty one.  When it comes to weight loss, the target is about eating habit. Do not try to burn your tights at the gym.  Eating is the heart and soul of the problem.  

I am going over multiple options and when I find sth useful, I am going to share this with you. 

First one is a super easy breakfast option.  Yes, you gotta have this one.  

Ready, set, go!!!!

1.  Rice cake 

2.  Almond butter

3.  Fruit

Get your rice cake (plain, cinnamon sugar, whatever kind), spread a table spoon of almond butter on the rice cake (do not over do it), and top it with your favorite fruits (do not over do it).  This is not a diet recipe but it is going to fill you up and maybe you can say no to donuts if your taste buds are satisfied.  

Try it! It is good. IF you can manage to drink a glass of water or two, you will feel full even longer and it is going to be lunch time in no time. 

Drunk Elephant Skin Care Review

Hello Everyone,


I have an in depth review of Drunk Elephant skin care line which I have been using over a year now.  I love this line and I highly recommend the brand if you are in need of rejuvenation and through moisture.   These products helped my skin to recover so nicely after pregnancy, during when I could not drink a sip of water and my skin looked like a rubber.  I do not remember ever having a better skin and I am 36 now.

I highly recommend this line.  I hope you find the review helpful.

Dramatic Eye liners and contrasting lipsticks

I am so into eye liners recently.  If you are a smokey-eye-nude-lip kinda being, colorful liners are great to get out of your comfort zone.  You can complement any lip stick color easily with colorful liners.

Unlike colorful shadows, they are not too much too soon.  Or they do not take over the entire look.  Let's say your coral lipstick worn off, you do not end up with an opaque, statement yellow eye shadow and bare lips.  

With so many eyeliner styles, hooded eyes are not so challenging for Bardot looks but exciting actually.  And colorful liners are so forgiving if you do not have an artist's hands.

In this video, I paired a colorful liner with a coral lipstick which I was looking forward to use for some time now.

Try a colorful liner but especially a color you would not imagine using it in a million years.  And make it a focal point.  Keep it dramatic.  And pair it with a colorful lipstick.  The more contrasting the better.  Not only, you are going to pop your eye color, you will also bring out the lips.  And if you leave your lipstick somewhere on the glass or napkin, do not be bothered.  Your eyes are still pop'in.

Ready. Set. GOOOOO; Hooded Eyes

I know: we are loaded with make up looks and product reviews.   But everybody is different and I am just getting started.  With my face changing every day, I am discovering a new way of doing things every time.  And two things are certain for me; I can  never do same makeup twice and I will forever buy makeup.

Ben Nye Theatrical Rouge Palette Review and Demo

I am so demotivated to write today:  My 11 month-old grabbed a fully packed MUFE XL Palette while I was fixing my eyeliner.  She was sitting on her high chair by my side and I did not even notice she got the palette.  Of course, it was full with my Ben Nye eye shadows. She just dropped the palette on the tile floor. It hurts.....

Anyways, we survived with no injuries.  She is still a happy child with full tummy and I breath just fine.  But, it hurts.... My makeup matters to me.  It is like a meditation; it releases my mind and makes me feel like the day is the best day of my life. Dramatic Haa?  Well, it always fits; you are never fat for make up or unmanageable.


Ok, back to the review.  I am subscribed to probably 150 You tubers and whenever there is a release from ABH, Tarte, Too Faced, or UD,  by the time I go to store I feel like I already used this palette soo many times and I am over it already.  Watching the same staff from all these people over and over with the similar crease- lid- inner corner- sharp eyeliner- falsies, makes me intoxicated and I do not wanna touch the darn thing anymore.  This happened to me with Modern Renaissance Palette.  Seriously,  come on already but no.  I can not get it up.  It looks so used to me.

So here is a palette, which has been on the market long before Modern Renaissance Palette, by a reliable, reputable company (no offense, all the above mentioned brands are amazing just with excessive and ridiculous PR policies).  The problem with Ben Nye is actually lack of PR but their products are in very makeup artist kit. HOW?  Well, they are that good.

Looks uber SEXY!

I love lipstick but I hate wearing them.  Simply because I am an untidy person and it drives me nuts not being able to find what I am looking for.

If it is a weird shade from YSL, thats is OK to own but fifty shades of nude???? No, thanks.  

Also it is OK to have soo many if you spare time to put THE ONE on.  But I am messy SIR.

I have been doing this for a while: putting powders on my lips: usually blush and highlighter.  Eye shadows work as well depending on the shade. However, maintaining it was puzzling simply because I do not carry the products around like I do lipstick.

I purchased Sephora Lip Powders right away for that reason: they are travel friendly.

Try this technique.  I don t think you will regret it.

So unoriginal, right?  Yes, I did it.  But, my father paid for it.  I am in shame :(

By the way, how amazing Sephora Brand make up is!!!! Not much talked about but nothing disappointing so far.  If you need a new eye pencil or shadow primer, just check it out.  Very affordable and works as good as their other expensive shelf partners.

Make up is always so tempting but no time to color these days. I am working on the most difficult puzzle of my life; what does a ten month old think?????

My Sweet Valentine Make Up Look

Valentine Day night out reminds me Young Love.  This is one time I would not load on the foundation for two reasons; you do not want to mess up your Valentine's shirt with foundation and you may end up at our Valentine's..., Soo forget falsies.

I did a smokey eye with soft tones and smooth edges.  Also used color pop super shock eye shadows.  This creamy formulation wears off naturally and you can just wipe it with clean fingers.  I preferred to cover up with concealer only and set it with natural powder to blur things.  Usually lighting is dim and minimal coverage looks best.  

Here is the super easy look anyone can apply.  I hope to have time for my hair one day!!!!!!
