Key things I learned from practicing Soft Cut Crease Looks on myself

First of all do not get discouraged by age or eyeshape; all you need is time. I can you tell this much; this is the hardest technique in my opinion. Cut crease looks are intimidating too but you erase most of the crease work with a concealer. But while doing this one, you gotta blend the hack out of it while still intensifying the crease. It is time consuming. But I think it is worth knowing. It teaches you a lot about your unique eye shape and how to use your brushes. Rediscovering your crease is a hit and miss game especially if you have hooded eyes but once you get used to this technique, your smokey eye looks will be on a new level.

For this video I used KAt Von D anniversary palette. The eye makeup portion took me half an hour. I timed it. But getting better I promise. These is always hesitation with new color combinations. Second time you do it, it is much faster. Step by step: -- Prime the lids; I used concealer -- Color Melanie applied all over the lid with Morphe E30 to set the concealer -- Color Ashley applied to crease with Morphe R39 to create shade --Same color applied to crease with Morphe M514 to create depth in the crease -- Color Nancy applied to lid with Smith 235 up to crease and blended with Ashley --Color Malice applied to upper crease with MUA crease brush 315 to shape the crease -- Tightline the eyes with a black liner; I used pixie liner in noir -- Use same liner to line upper and outer edge of the lower lash line -- Use the same liner in the outer crease to create a base for the darkest shade -- Go over the black liner with the color Adele and intensify the crease halfway with Sigma E25 brush. -- Apply Alexandra, pink glitter shade, on the lid --Apply Ashley with Morphe E36 brush under lower lash line tracing the black brown liner The color Adele was not as intense as I would like to I go over the liner with brow powder/ liner duo in Dark Brown for Smashbox. This may create some fall out while used as a liner. Make sure you do not have a lot of powder on the applicator.
